how can i add a custom html in the footer of minimal shopify theme

I need some help regarding this  there is no option to to add custom html in the footer section i hope somebody could help me . thank you

Elle here from Shopify's Social Care team. Hope you're doing well!

In order to add custom HTML to the footer you will need to head into the code of the theme and modify the footer.liquid section. 

This section can be found under Online store > Themes > Actions > Edit Code > Sections > Footer.liquid.

Where exactly do you add the code in that section of the theme?
