How can I add a free instant download button to my website without checkout?

Hi all, 

Im new to all of this and just wanting a way to add FREE instant downloads to my website? I have an online store and sell physical products but I've created some free content to drive traffic to my website. Ive downloaded the app for digital download but it takes the person through to checkout. Is there a way i can add an instant download button on the page without them needing to checkout ?

You can do this without an app. You can even enable to customers only. You can also change the file name to whatever you want. Check the video for more info

Where are you hosting your free content?

If you don't have a lot of free content, you can simply upload the files to Shopify and grab the direct file links, and list them on a page.

If you have a lot of free content for download, then you can consider using an app like File Search & Library MP, which lets you embed a library like widget into your page. You can display your free downloadables into different categories, while also providing a search function for customers to search for files they want.

With either these ways, your customers can click and direct download, without going through a check out process.
