How can I add field on cart page that calculates summary of meters of a product

I have this shop that sells fabrics.

One unit is half a meter. If a buyer selects 3 units, how can I display on the shopping cart page that he will buy 1,5 meter of that fabric?

Any ideas?

You should try out the Easify Product Options app. It lets you create and display a quantity field for customers to input their preferred fabric length (meters), effectively taking over the default Shopify quantity selector 🤗. As for pricing, you can set it to charge customers per a meter (like $10 for a meter).
