How can I adjust gift wrapping charges based on quantity in my online store?

Hi,

Right now I am using just some code I put in for Gift Wrapping where you create a product, and then in the cart you have the option to add Gift Wrapping. It only allows just one gift wrapping, so you aren't sure if they need the all of the items gift wrapped, and also no way to charge more if you have multiple items.

Does anyone know of an app, or is there some way to have it so if there is more than 1 item to wrap it charges a little more? Like say

1 item is $5

2 items are $7

3 items are $9 etc

And a way to state which items they want wrapped? Cause I don't really want to have like an expensive price on each item for gift wrapping (as some apps allow on the product), and dont' mind the discount if they're getting multiples wrapped. Hopefully this makes sense, please if you have any ideas on how to incorporate as I couldn't find an app that does this, all apps only seem to charge per product or per cart.

I have a simple solution for your store. You can add an optional gift wrapping feature to each product page using the Easify Product Options app. This way, customers can easily select which products they want to include with gift wrap. Depending on the number of gift wrap options they choose, the corresponding extra fees for gift wrapping will be added automatically. Here's an example using the Checkbox option type of the app 🤗:

I am not sure this is what I want though. Can this be setup so if they have 2 items to wrap is a slightly more amount, 3 items etc? and then you can tell what item it is they want wrapped?

You can add the Gift Wrapping product as custom options of your main products. Assumed that customers select Gift Wrapping option in Product A, then in the cart and checkout it will show that Gift Wrapping option is in Product A. And the Gift Wrapping option will be associated with a cost (e.g: $4.99), if customer selects Gift Wrapping option to the Product A, it will add up the cost of Gift Wrapping to the Product A. Similarly, if customer selects Gift Wrapping option to Product B, it will add up the cost of Gift Wrapping to the Product B.

Moreover, if you want to apply a discount for more than 1 gift wrapping, you can set Shopify automatic discount for the Gift Wrapping product. So, for example customers select Gift Wrapping option fot both Product A & B, then in the checkout there are 2 Gift Wrapping products, and you can set a discount of 20% for 2 (and above) Gift Wrapping products.

It might sound a little complicated. To make things clearer, you should try setting up Easify Product Options app on your store and see how it works 🤗.
