How can I adjust the footer menu to display in 2 columns on mobile version Dawn?

The footer menu on Dawn theme on my desktop version appears nicely as 2 columns, just as I want, but on mobile version as shown above it stays as 1 column no matter what I try. I havr tried anything, looked on this forum and tried CSS change suggestions from this forum, but none of it works. Does anyone have an idea what I can try?

I changed one menu item from "Algemene" to "Algemene voorwaarden", so that it jumps to another line. But also the layout changes a lot with it. What is the cause of this within CSS, you know this?
