How can I bulk edit metafields and fix missing variant qty in product export?

1. I am unable to see the variant qty column in the product export sheet. Last week is exported the product CSV and the column of qty was there but now it is not showing when I m exporting the CSV.

2.  is there any way to put the metafields value in bulk, either through bulk editing or CSV?

Hi @Sabih ,

I've just tried exporting products to a CSV file on 2 dev stores and both files did have the "Variant Inventory Qty" column. If you're using a third-party app to export the data, you may want to check its configuration, as some of these apps might require manual selection of each product field.

As for editing metafields in bulk, there's no default tool in Shopify for that (at least I don't know any 😅). The good news is that there are multiple bulk data management features in our app:

editing functionality: 

1) Excel-like editor;

2) Bulk editor;

3) CSV import ;

Depending on your goal, you can either edit metafields using the spreadsheet-like UI of Excel-like editor, manage the "global" metafields (metafields that have the same value for all products) in a single click with the bulk editor, or import the data from a CSV file.

Thanks for your reply.

However, here I am working on 6 websites of Shopify with the same plan not using any third party but, all of the website's product export is working fine as you said except for one. Don't know the reason.

Kindly do tell me if you find anything in this regard.
