How can I bulk update product prices in my online store?

For people that have 100, 200, maybe even 500 or 1000 products in their Shopify store, what if you have to update all your pricing by between $0.10 and $0.90 or something, how how would you do it?

We have an app called the Ablestar Bulk Product Editor. In addition to be able to modify all  (or a subset of) your products at once, the app will also allow you to 'undo' edits at a later date.  This is especially helpful for setting up and ending sales.

You can change the price in the following ways:

• change by a fixed amount
• set to a fixed Value
• increase by percent
• decrease by percent
• change by a percentage
• set as a percentage of the compare at price field
• set as a percentage of the cost

The app has a free version available that allows for 5 edits (in-app or spreadsheet) in any 30 day period, and each edit can consist of up to all the products on the store.

There is free way of doing that withing Shopify admin account:

1. go to Settings.

2. Click on Markets.

3. Click on the market you want to change the prices there.

4. Click on Products and pricing.

From there you are allowed to increase or decrease the prices in percent %. You can choose all products at once or some of them.
