Great question. Although there isn't quite a way to do this with our reports without a few steps. You can do this easily using the free features from 2 apps. I've linked them below for you.

Both of these apps will allow you to see inventory value within the free plan. Were you just looking to forecast your sales or inventory purchases?

This is a basic set of information, and yet again, I find myself flabbergasted that this is not included out of the box with Shopify. How are you supposed to use all these metrics that they provide, but you can't even tell what your current inventory cost is? Unbelievable. They already have a month end inventory cost - how hard is it to set it so we can pick the dates?
