How can I cancel my $89 POS Pro subscription?

Hi all, I’m really new to the forums in general. So I apologise if this has been asked already.

I own a small handmade online store In the U.K., I only use my online store to sell- when opening the shop I’d somehow set up Shopify POS Pro for $89.

from what I’ve understood of the app, this isn’t something I need as I only use the online store.

 

how can I cancel this 89 dollar subscription? I can’t seem to find any answers online, the app doesn’t give much help!

any help would be really appreciated!!

Welcome to the forums, no need to apologise at all. I know you weren't sure if you need the POS Pro or not so I can clarify the difference between them both so you will know for the future. Shopify POS is better suited to merchants casually selling at pop-ups and events but the Shopify POS Pro offers features geared towards retailers with permanent brick and mortar locations.  


Shopify POS Pro is free for all merchants until October 31st, 2020. At that point, you will need to decide whether you want to keep your Pro subscription and begin paying it or you can revert to the original Shopify POS which will remain free and available in all the Shopify plans. We gave every merchant the opportunity to trial the full Shopify POS Pro functionality until the end of October. At the moment, there is no way to disable it. If you decide to move forward with the Shopify POS Pro then you will have the opportunity to opt-in when the time comes, otherwise, if you no longer want it you can simply opt-out. Don't worry, nobody will be opted in automatically and we would require your consent before charging for this. 

You shouldn't be seeing any billing for the POS Pro at the moment. Can you go to 'settings > billing' on your Shopify admin and send me a screenshot of the invoice showing the POS charge? That way I can take a look at it and bring it to our financial team for review if needed.

Hello,

I’m just wondering also... we would like to use the POS PRO for 3 or 4 months of the year (as this is our busiest selling time.Our business is seasonal and we wouldn’t require the full POS features the full year round.)

 

Are we able to revert back to the Lite version when not selling as much?

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am running a Café during summer 2 month. Some how we activated pos pro for 89 $. What happens with the settings and work done if I downgrade to the std and no cost. Is everything there to start upp i june again. I found out that the printe rfrom Star that a bought i swwden where not the correct one. I didn. find it in sweden. So pos pro did.nt help us in setting up with logo that we wanted. It could not be changed  i the printe rfor print out. Can I just cancel the pos pro?

I only wanted the FREE POS plan, NOT POS Pro…online is not responding to canceling this subscription.  Please cancel my subscription to it immediately and delete any attempts to charge for it.
