Hi,
I opened a shop a while ago and since then my bank account has changed. I dont remember my old account or routing number and would like some help with changing this. Also, I realized this after someone placed an order and was wondering how the money transfer would work upon changing bank accounts.

Hi @sophieades,
If you can't remember your bank account information for the account we currently have on file, you will need to contact our support team and make a request for this to be changed. Our team can authenticate you on your store and send this to our payments department for review. If you have missing payouts this is something that can be looked at as well.

Is your Shopify store still online? You can contact us via the Help Center by speaking with the chatbot on the right-hand side and outlining your issue. If you are not provided with a link to start a live chat automatically you can ask to speak to a member of our team and you should be redirected.

Im having problems updating my new bank acct info in Shopify. I keep reaching out to acct specialist for help and they assured my problem has been escalated to the appropriate department but I haven’t heard from anyone. There is a glitch in the system because i know im putting in the old bank acct info correctly. Please help. Im doing a major launch soon and i need my banking info updated ASAP. @Shopify @Victor

If you have reached out to our live support and have been informed that the issue has been escalated, you will need to allow the corresponding team to review the case and reach out to you accordingly. With that being said, we do not have access to any store or account information from the Community forums. If you would like to receive an update on the situation, I would suggest reaching out to our authenticated support by navigating to the Help Center.
When you arrive at the Help Center, you will need to make the virtual assistant be aware that you would like to Speak with support and you will be connected with a Support Advisor accordingly.
