How can I change my quick buy button to an add to cart button?

I currently have a quick buy button on my collection which takes you to actual product page. I would like to change this to an add to cart to allow customer to save one step and buy in 1 click from a collection page. How can this be done? Do I need to add a code for an add to cart button or is there an easy way to change the action takes by the "quick buy" button to make add to cart as opposed to taking the customer to the product page
