How can I change my sender email to avoid spam flags?

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to change my sender email. Currently it's set as my personal yahoo email, as this is what I signed up for shopify with. However, when sending emails from this address, they're flagged as spam for my customers because yahoo emails are DMARC protected. How do I change my sender email to one that won't be flagged as spam? What email service do I use?

To update your store's sender email address, please follow the steps below.

 

How to change your Sender Email address:

 

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications.
  • In the Sender email section, enter your email address.
  • Click Save

hi for me its not giving me any option to save and change the email sender address. not sure what else to do

Can you share a screenshot of what you see when you try to update it? Are the options greyed out or something else?

The Save button is at the top of the page. I just had this same issue.
