How can I change my store name displayed on the address bar?

Hi, one of my friends helped me to open my shopify store. My store name is pomo. But, when I open my store at first it shows vertex solution 100 on the address bar. I want to change it into POMO. Can anyone guide me to change it?

I can definitely see where the confusion is coming from here. While it is possible to change the name of your store in the Settings > Store Details section of your admin, this will only change how it appears in certain sections such as in your admin itself and in browser tabs etc. 

The section you are referring to in your screenshot is the URL or store domain. Once you create a store on Shopify you need to choose a username, which acts as the default myshopify URL for the store. Changing this myshopify URL is not actually possible. This is because each myshopify URL acts as a unique identifier in our back end.

There's two routes you could take if you wanted to change the URL of your store:

1. If you haven't put a lot of time into the store yet, or are still in your trial period - then you could consider creating a new store with the correct myshopify URL that you want. I realize this might not be ideal, especially if you have already begun work on the store.
2. The most popular thing to do is to add a custom domain to your store. This would essentially replace the myshopify domain, and so no one but you would see the old name (it would only be used for login purposes and your admin really). You can purchase custom domains via Shopify, sometimes for as little as $14 per year. We have more information on this here.

He is asking you a completely different question and you post here a totally irrelevant answer about about how to connect a domain name - are you guys getting trained at how to ignore questions asked and post irrelevant answer just to make it look like you cared ? How can you not just post a simple  but relevant answer by saying "NO you can't change your username at SHOPIFY ". 

It would help everyone far more than the irrelevant answer you posted above.

Simple answer without the bla bla bla from anyone at Shopify is NO you can't change your username. PERIOD. 
SHOPIFY have been promising in each customer support interaction for the past 10 years to make this feature available soon, but they even eliminated to choose a username even during creating a store - which is ridiculous every platform someone registeres features the ability to pick the desired username even instagram but no SHOPIFY can't give you the option to choose and change your username - which is again ridiculous
