How can I change the tab name on my website?

Please take a look at the screenshot.

I've been not able to change this tab name for decades, anyone know how to fix this and eliminate this 'KKK' letter I want to get rid of?? I notice I can't change this on preferences obviously... 😢

I've taken a look at your store on Google and it looks like the Title and meta description is displaying accurately on there, so there could be a problem elsewhere on your account. Since there could be several potential causes, such as an issue with your theme or an app, then further troubleshooting may be required. A quick way to check if the issue is related to your theme is by installing (and publishing) another one of our free themes so we can check whether the same problem persists. If the issue only occurs on the older theme, then it's safe to say that the issue is localized to that theme and you can see if the theme developer can help assist you with resolving the issue.

If the issue persists in both themes, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve the problem. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to further assist you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.

 

Once you've resolved this issue, I'd love to hear more about your experience and share some resources to help you get started.

Yeah the tap name problem still persists, i visited did the 'Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.' but haven't got much help, is there way for me to grant you access specifically so that you may be able to take a look to it?

I'm delighted to hear that the issue has been resolved. Could you shed some light on how you were able to resolve the issue?

 

If you require account-specific support, then you'll need to visit the Shopify Help Center and use the AI chat to request for customer support. Once that's done, then you'll be prompted to login to your store and you can hop on a live chat with our live support team.

oh thanks for asking,  i m not sure but it was just fixed.. lol

but still having trouble site description, 

 

when sending people my site via messenger apps like whatsapp, or kakaotalk, there this weird description showing 'kkyo descri.' which is definitely a thing no body wants their site to be showing as when typing and sending the site domain to a friend.. please let me know if you know how to fix this 🙂

The social media sharing image can be changed under the Preferences of the Online store. However, the title and description is also pulled from the Title and meta descriptions in the Preferences.

 

Depending on the social media platform, this issue generally suggests that the scrap/cache could be lagging for them. For Facebook, you can try using the Facebook debugger tool and see if that will update description with the latest information and images. While I'm not sure if WhatsApp or KakaoTalk has their own debugger tool, I came across a third-party blog that suggests WhatApps uses the same debugger tool as Facebook so it's worth a shot - you can learn more about that here: image not showing in Whatsapp

 

If the issue continues to persist after trying the Facebook debugger tool, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to get a closer look at the issue.
