How can I close inactive store at my account

Hi, I need to close inactive store. In purpose another person would open it. How can I do that, please help? Should I pay for 1 month subscription and then I can close it in settings?

Welcome to the Shopify Community!

 

If you are unable to log into your account without selecting a plan then you will need to get in contact with our support team so they can shut down the store for you. You have a few options here:

 

  • You can either choose to pay for a monthly subscription in order to gain access to your account to close down your store, then the support advisor you are talking to will immediately refund the subscription charge.

  • The second option is for the support advisor to escalate your request to our billing team which can take 2 - 5 business days to process.

If you would like your account closed immediately I would suggest going with the first option otherwise we would be more than happy to escalate your request.

 

While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit https://bit.ly/3cJkx8V and log in to your account to create a support request.
