How can I correctly set up a headless storefront project?

Can someone help me with Headless storefront setup. I want to understand how to setup the project the right way. I need some СMS for content manager, I took a look into Strapi and Sanity but I'm not sure how to connect it and setup with Hydrogen. I would like to get in touch with someone who has experience in it!
