How can I create a dynamic logo showcase for my clients page?

Hi Shopify Community,

I'm building a page that speaks to the clients I've serviced and want to have a scrolling bar that showcases my client logos. Right now I just have a static image with my client logos which is boring. 

The only FREE app options I can find are ones that limit it to 3 logos (I have 7 I want to showcase). 

The rest are $5-10 per month which seems pricey to me.

Boring is effective and affordable vs unnecessary UI's or slideshows.

How many big name sites do you see animating their client/partner/integration image-lists.

Do you have any proof, anything beside personal aesthetics, this is worth spending any time on such as analytics that show prospects behavior generates leads from the static-image. Counterpoint: or that the static-image causes bounces;  which can just be because the image is to large and the site is large which a slideshow doesn't fix.

Simplest,  if you accept the cost/performance overhead, is to use a pagebuider app/service. 

Otherwise DIY using the logo list example, with CSS setting a max-height or max-width on it and overflow set to scroll

If by "scroll" you mean auto advancing, a slideshow tons of "tutorials" available on that. 

Anything beyond that you'd have to be much more descriptive and provide examples while being more and more unlikely to find specific code for specific requirements for free.

Appreciate your perspective that it is after all an aesthetic feature and static may be the way to go instead of incurring added costs. 

I tried this solution above, but as an FYI it was resulting in the logos overlapping (even though I sized each of them 300x300px), so I just created a static banner in Canva and did an image section on the Homepage.

Please refer the below video to create a custom section, since section is made with custom code can be used in any theme.

Thanks I ended up buying an icon scroller for $9 on Sections Store - no custom website development necessary!
