How can I custom code my Dawn Menu into stacked, without an App?

Hi. I am using the dawn menu (a customized version to be precisely) and i am happy so far with it. What I don't like: the hamburger menu. It's too nested. I am a web dev, and in my opinion that's a horrible UX.

I can not replace it with an app, because my menu already has some nice customizations that I don't want to lose.

How can I easily custom code my Dawn Hamburger Menu into a stacked menu?
