I’m trying to deactivate my account but it’s says I have to wait because there were too many password attempts. I need to deactivate my account.

For security reasons, Shopify Support can't deactivate your store for you, you need to deactivate the store yourself. Therefore, you'll need to wait until you can deactivate it.
If you have forgotten your password, please follow this guide to reset your password.

I think the OP was pretty clear about needing to know the amount of time needed to wait in order to retry their deactivation attempt. Are you not allowed to say how long the cooldown takes?
