I didn't sign up for Shopify but somehow someone opened an account with my email address. I don't know the person and don't appear to have been hacked as they dont seem to have completed the verification process.
I want my account deleted but can't work out how to get in touch with Shopify. Their email support@shopify.com no longer works. To talk to anyone on their site, it says I need to complete verification process but I don't want an account so don't want to now add my details. Help!

I understand that you have noticed someone created a Shopify account using your email address, and you wish to have it deleted. I can certainly understand why, I am sure I would feel the same way! I would be happy to help.
It's possible that this may have been a genuine error by the person trying to create their account but there's also a chance it was intentional. Either way, I am unable to access any of the account information or provide direct support here via the Shopify Community.
You will need to reach out to our support team through our help center - you can use this link here. As you won't know the password to this account, you will be unable to login. Therefore, you will need to select the 'I don't have an account' option.
After doing so, you will then need to select a topic/sub-topic in order to see the list of available contact methods. I would recommend live chat for this. Once in the chat with a support advisor, they will collect some information from you and explain the next steps involved.

In a desperate need of help here!!!!
I am facing the same issue - someone has created an account using my email without my permission. They tried to bill $1.07 for a while, but it didn't happen. Now it happened and I am afraid more problems would arise. I cannot access my account as I don't know the password. I tried to change my password, but I don't know the digital code, so I cannot get anywhere from here.
It' s been 2 or 3 weeks and the Shopify Support link is under construction or doesn't t respond to me. Please please help me. I have created his account with a different email just to get across someone.
