How can I fix dropdown menu redirecting to wrong product page on first click?

I have a dropdown on my webpage (I am using dawn). I have main category (products) and down - the different products. By first click on the drop down (any subcategory), it redirects to a specific products page - one of my products. If I go back and click again, it already works properly and directs to the collection it is set up to.
