How can I fix misplaced content on my new webpage?

I'm creating a new page and I go to check it out on the preview page and its in a completely different area like my recipes page that I created has it own page/tab and its somehow in the FAQ page? Not too sure how this happened but does anyone know how to fix this incase this happens next time?

You might edited the default page or you selected the different page template.

1. Make sure your default page template not edited

2. You selected the default template, where you created the page
