How can I fix overly zoomed images in the product grid of Dawn theme?

Hi all, 

I'm trying to fix this dilemma I've been dealing with in the product grid. I am using Dawn theme and I have selected the portrait as the image ratio to be displayed because its look more clean and organized, however, I've noticed that some of the images are way too zoomed and does not display the product as a whole and cuts out the image. How can we go about fixing this problem for all the products to be displayed clearly?

This does create an issue if your images are not the same ratio. I suggest editing the image to match others
