How can I generate a full monthly payout report?

How can I generate a full monthly payout report?

Hi there,

I'm trying to get a report of all Payouts for a period of time, with charges against each transaction.

At the moment I can only find a way to get daily reports:

Whilst these reports give me the data I need for that day, to create a full month's report I'd have to export 30 days' worth and combine them.

Does anyone know how to create a full 30 day report in this format:

Many thanks

Hi, @GarethDA.

Thanks for reaching out and posting this question!

You can filter the payouts using the Payout date filter, which includes filters like 30 days, last 12 months, custom, and more. Once the filters are applied, you can export the data at the top of the page if that's something you need or you can view the reports directly on Shopify. Should you require more details about each transaction, such as the processing fees involved, then you can also export your transactions as well.

I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community! Once you have your payout reports, I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What types of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?

Hey @Elias ,

Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, I'm still only seeing the Payout Date in column A.

I'd like the export to include each individual payment

I can do this day-by-day, but I need to pull a report for a full year, and don't fancy doing 365 exports!

Happy to explain further if this is unclear 🙂

Hey, @GarethDA.

Thanks for following up!

It looks like you might have already exported the data so you wouldn't be able to change the payout period. You'll need to go back to the payouts page and set the Payout date before you export the data as shown in the screenshot from my last response.

If you require further assistance with this, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve the issue. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to continue assisting you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.

If you have any other questions, then don't hesitate to let me know!

hey @Elias , thanks for responding.

I found a solution using the Matrixify app - this allows me to export a list of payments with all the credit card charges etc. included, so all good.

Thanks

Gareth

I can't even with Shopify anymore.

I went to do my monthly payout report for the bookkeeper. I see the date option is gone. I come here to search the forums. I see this reply. You will need to update your reply to indicate that, yet again, devs have made everything harder instead of easier for the users. They have hidden this feature to select the date. In order to find that feature you need to click on on the magnifying search glass, and then surprise! You can now see the option to select dates.

FEATURE REQUEST: put the options back on the bar. Hiding it only serves to frustrate, instead of assist, your user base.

Does no one actually use your system that makes all these changes?
