How can I have one item set to unlimited quantity while the other is tracked in different locations?

Hi,

For context, I have two locations (or warehouse) in the same online store however I would like to keep a product in one location untracked (AKA unlimited amount) while the other location of the same product is a finite amount. Is there a way to achieve this? Would that be a app or using metatags? If so, how can I do this?

When it comes to managing inventory between locations, you can check out the Shopify App Store. We have various apps available that may allow you to achieve this as natively, the 'continue selling when out of stock' feature impacts the product as opposed to the location. This will allow you to potentially manage inventory per location as opposed to per product! For specific questions regarding an app, you can connect with the app developer directly as they will be able to share more information and determine whether an app is the right fit for your business.
