All things Shopify and commerce
Hi, I have created a Shopify website about two months ago (https://canadianathleticsupplies.store/) and I advertise for about 3 dollars a day on Facebook with around 20-40 views a day from that.
Unfortunately tho, I have not gotten a single sale yet. Please help and advise me on anything you can so I can improve and start making sales.
Thank you 🙂

Hi @the3,

I'm genuinely impressed with your website. It has a stylish flair while remaining clean, clear, and professional. Based on my expertise in CRO, I’d love to offer some suggestions to improve the conversion rate and sales for your store.
1. Have the About Us section on the header
This section helps customers have an overview of the store and is also one way to impress customers. It often includes some main parts such as
2. Modify product image size
You should ensure all product images are the same size for a cleaner and more professional look. Consistent image dimensions improve the browsing experience and help customers focus on your products.
3. Add testimonials section
You should add the testimonials section in your homepage. Testimonials are an essential component of any successful Shopify store. It provides social proof, builds credibility, and influences potential customers' purchasing decisions. It can help your online store be more trustworthy.
4. Edit button display
When clicking on the 'Add to Cart' button, the text in the checkout pop-up is not contrasting enough, making it hard to see. You should change the text to a lighter color, such as white, to improve visibility and clarity.

Refine Your Target Audience
Facebook Ads Targeting: At $3/day, it’s essential to focus on very specific, highly relevant audiences. Narrow down your targeting to people who are most likely to buy athletic supplies. You could target by:
- Interests (e.g., sports enthusiasts, gym-goers, fitness professionals)
- Behaviors (e.g., people who have recently purchased fitness-related items)
- Demographics (age, location, gender preferences)
- Retarget visitors who’ve interacted with your ads but didn’t convert.
Optimize Your Facebook Ads
- Ad Copy and Creatives: Test different versions of your ad copy. Try highlighting benefits (e.g., durability, performance, etc.) rather than just features of the product. Include lifestyle images or videos to capture attention.
- Retargeting Ads: Use Facebook Pixel to retarget visitors who left your site without purchasing. You could offer them a small discount or free shipping in the retargeting ads.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful in optimizing your website's conversion rate and sales. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. I wish you the best of luck with your online venture.
Best regards,

Hi,
Thank you so much for the help but the only thing I was not able to figure out how to do is number 4 of your points which is changing the "add to cart" colour. Please let me know if you know how to because I honestly am not able to figure it out.
Thank you so much once again !
Hi @the3
If you are confident about the quality of your website traffic, you can consider using discounts and promotions to boost the conversion rate and encourage users to make purchases. I suggest using the Discounty App, which offers various types of discounts. Additionally, there is a free plan available. Check out Discounty app!
