How can I improve file management and enable mass upload on Shopify?

hi,

I'm fairly new to shopify, but my company is thinking to change to this platform from an old one. I like a lots of features, but one part of the admin options really annoys me. The file manager part in my opinion is too weak. I mean, if I am right, there is no folder-based file management, and there is no option to upload images trough FTP connection.

Do you have any options to replace these solutions? (I read the Image Manager app before from another community question, but it's not what I'm looking for)
