So I have a small amount of traffic. Want to get more. But even the small amount of traffic I get has a poor conversion rate. Any suggestions and critiques would be great!! My website is hansbeautysupply.com

The best channel I usually see for new ecommerce brands getting going is Google Shopping / Google Ads. You can basically get instant sales.

I would start there.

I checked your site and felt it was hard to navigate. The menu design is not standard and is hard to read. You may want to consult with a designer or conversion rate optimization specialist to get some of the basics dialed in.

Hi @Bjsoul !

First off, I did notice some homepage sections that can be updated to be more clear and concise in hopes of improving your conversion rate. For instance, your catalog section is heavy on products/collections. I would recommend focusing on a single featured collection instead since you already list general categories that relate to the bulk of your catalog.

I'd also recommend having a simple font colour as opposed to the fuschia you're currently using. While I can see that it is part of your branding, it is best to keep bright brand colours limited to backgrounds and icons. For readability, you will want to use black, dark gray or white font (where applicable).

The Top Selling section on your homepage has great potential but the button is very hard to read. Please make sure that it has a full colored background so that the text is easy to read. This would be a great opportunity to utilize your brand palette fuschia as opposed to the turquoise.

Lastly, once you have made those adjustments to your theme, I would recommend submitting your sitemap to Google in order to increase traffic to your store. You can follow our guide here.

I hope this helps.

Cheers!
