How can I log into my shopify account without 2FA or the recovery key?

I no longer have access to either the authenticator on my phone or my original recovery key on my laptop. I am curious how I login to my account.

This is an accepted solution.

Without access to the 2FA method OR the recovery keys your only option is to contact Shopify Support for assistance. At least as far as I know.

It has now been 20 days since I started a conversation with shopify support for this same issue and yet to be resolved. They have escalated to the security team which apparently needs a month to get this resolved. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and no response. I keep replying to that same email every day with it's day 15, it's day 16, it's day 17, it's day 18, it's day 19... and NOTHING. This is so crazy to me that it would take this long to get back into a business account.

Thank you for reaching out! Make sure to contact our Support Team so they can escalate your ticket to have the 2FA removed. Due to this being a secuirty measure, it does take some time for our team to review the ticket and get back you. Our queues are a lot busier at this time, so it can be 3-5 weeks until you hear back.
