Hi Mr/Ms Consultant

I hope you are doing well!  🙂

i  have just open a jewelry store on shopify, and finished all the setting.  HOwever, I found when I search the product link Shopify provided.  It showed "OPENING SOON"

I wonder if I miss something?  the email is corrected and verified

Thank you and best regards

Hey @wantina

If your Shopify store is displaying an "OPENING SOON" message, it's likely that your store is still password protected. This is a default setting for new Shopify stores to allow you to set up your store without the public being able to view it.

To remove the password protection and make your store live:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Online Store > Preferences.
  3. Scroll down to the Password protection section.
  4. Uncheck the box that says "Enable password".
  5. Click Save.

I’m having a similar problem. However, I’m not seeing an option to uncheck the box saying “enable password”. Because if this it’s saying my store is opening soon!

please could I have some advice here! I don’t see the point in me having to pay £25 per month for a pricing plan when there’s no guarantee I’ll be selling enough to earn a profit!

thank you :))

Hey @Josh_2000

In order to remove the password page for your store you do need to choose a pricing plan. While Shopify does offer a free trial and sometimes discounts on the first few months of service, we do not provide services on our platform for free.

I understand your concern about making a profit on your store, that is totally understandable for a new business. Do you have a marketing plan in place? I recommend checking out some of the guides in our blog for help in setting up everything you need before launching your store: Shopify Blog.
