All things Shopify and commerce
Hi Everyone!
A few weeks ago, I launched my Shopify shop, (Jdivineescapethecity.com). Currently, I've reached a point where I believe adding too many different features might overload my website. Unfortunately, despite having some visitors from various places, I haven't made any sales yet.
I would greatly appreciate it if some of you could take a look at my website and provide me with tips to improve my shop. I'm a beginner, so any advice and ideas would be extremely valuable. Additionally, I'm working on improving my shop daily by uploading new products.
Thanks

@JDivine - You have a clean website design, which is a plus. A few very simple things right off the bat:
However, if I click the very next photo it is larger and much more attractive. Always put your best foot forward, best image first. When people click on the product, they will see that you have different sizes and when they choose one of those, that smaller image above will pop up. You can arrange the photos on the product page largest to small and still have your sizes in the ascending order.
I hope you find some of this helpful. You have a great website and your products look fantastic, please understand these are just "picky" little details that will make a difference to the customers who first enter the store. 😊
Hi @JDivine
I visited your website and noticed that it requires a password to access.
Do you edit your sales page publicly? Making your website public would help you reach a wider audience more easily.
Hi @JuneN,
Normally, it is public. Before posting, I changed some settings and I think I unintentionally selected the wrong option. Please check again.
Besides that your right it should be public to reach more people.
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing the valuable insights. Upon examining your website, I've noticed a diverse range of designs in your store, yet it appears to lack certain features crucial for effective marketing and sales.
Fortunately, Shopify's App Store offers numerous applications tailored to address these needs, including advertising and marketing tools, email marketing solutions, as well as apps facilitating discount integration and application integrates labels to display discounts and promotional activities.
Hope the above tips are useful to you

Thank you very much.
I've tried to implement each tip. One thing I couldn't adjust was the size order from large to small. I already chose the large photo for my main image in my mockups. Each chosen mockup is visible, but I can’t change the first small image. It frustrates me not being able to change this. It would be great if you could give me a short step by step to change this.
Regarding the eye-catcher and the addition of more color: normally, I have a brown-colored theme, but to brighten it up, I think I don’t have many options for picking good colors. However, I'm open to any good suggestions.
I hope you can help me out again.
@JDivine - you have a beautiful writing style, very engaging welcome. I would give the background a slightly different color to make it stand out more. Perhaps for the splash of color you inquired about, you test out hex #8D8F7B which is in the green family, but I think would work with the mocha and blacks, or #CEC9BC? You can play around with a few colors or variations until you find one you really love.
I am happy to assist if you have any other questions. 😊
you should be able to go to products, choose the product you want to modify, click it open and then put your cursor on the photo, click and hold, then drag to whichever spot you want to move it to.
