How can I prevent a competitor from constantly checking our inventory levels?

I have a competitor constantly checking our inventory levels, adding products to the basket and increasing the quantity until no more can be added.

I can tell this as they are signed up to our newsletter and that shows their basket total, they are on at least 3 times daily and it's infruiating!

Is there a way of stopping this?
