How can I prevent horizontal images from being cut off?

Hello,

I carry a lot of art in my inventory. All of my horizontal images are cut off on the sides. Image resize is not changing anything. Can I change the size of the display tiles? I have hundreds of images, I am migrating from another platform. I just want to cry at thinking of having to reshoot everything. Help! 

I tried to post a link to my shop and it was giving me an error.

Hi @cobalthouse,

We can make the changes on the the as required to make the whole image visible. Most of the theme already support this feature. As you have not mentioned any specific theme, i cannot give an accurate solution.

Howver, even if the theme doesnot have the required feature, we can update the source code to make this work.

Thank you for your reply! I'm using the theme Studio, but am open to changing to whatever will best support the photo issue.

Hi @cobalthouse ,

Looks like you are using dawn theme. In Dawn theme you can customize the setting to make the image take the size of container.

Please follow below steps to achieve this.

Step 1: Go to Online Store > Theme > Customize

Step 2: Select Collection Pages

Step 3: Select "Product Grid"

Step 4: Change Image ratio to "Adapt to image"

Step 5: Save the changes

Hi.  I'm having the same problem on the main theme page and not a product page.  I've added a horizontal picture that is getting cut off.  Any suggestions?
