All things Shopify and commerce
Hello guys,
I accidently deleted my blog page on Shopify and all my ranking keywords lost. I want to get back those blog posts and keywords. Is there any method to recover? If I use wayback machine to get back those article and publish them again will it be beneficial for my website?
Your cooperation will be admired.

Hey, @frank_moss! Welcome to Shopify Community!
I'm sorry to hear about the accidental deletion of your blog page. Unfortunately, once content is deleted, it may not be recoverable through our platform.
However, you can certainly explore using third-party tooling, such as Wayback Machine, to check the cached version of your website. You can copy the contents over to a new page in your admin. Please note that while this may help in restoring some of your lost content, search engines may treat republished content differently, and it may not fully restore your previous rankings. If you need some guidance improving your ranking, you can refer to our SEO guide here.
If using Wayback Machine is unsuccessful, you have the option to create a support ticket and have a chat with our support team. Data recovery is not a feature of our platform, however, we'd love to see if there's anything else we can do to help from there. Feel free to visit our Help Center and chat with the AI assistant to be connected with one of our support advisors.
If you need help with anything else, let us know and we'll be happy to discuss!

Thank you for your response just I was struggling to find any method that don't take too much time to recover lost data. I already visited Wayback Machine and checked the cached version of my website but my question that you solved was ranking. So if I copy paste my content from Wayback machine it will not effect my ranking means my previous ranking will not recover.
Then the best solution will be to right new content and publish it. Right? What if I use the same URL that I already used for my blog posts? 🤔
Hey, @frank_moss
Correct, the best thing I think you can do is get that blog post (with the same exact URL) up again with new content and get it re-published.
