All things Shopify and commerce
My account was hacked and have fraudulent charges totaling over $1000. I have locked the cards but keep getting a message that safari and google can't open the Help Center Page. Now what? I need to report these charges asap.
Hi, @StudioGlazed.
Welcome to the Shopify Community.
I understand that your Shopify account has been compromised, and you received charges on your credit cards. I can definitely understand the severity of the issue and will do my best to guide you in the right direction.
To confirm, have you already contacted your bank/credit card company regarding the unauthorized charges? The reason I ask is, your bank/credit card company will guide you through the process of disputing the charges and may cancel your current card and issue a new one to prevent further unauthorized transactions.
You mentioned that you're receiving a message when accessing the Shopify Help Center via Safari and Google browsers. Could you share a screenshot of the error message? Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies or using an incognito browser?
If you continue to experience issues accessing the Help Center after following the steps above, I'll share additional steps below to try.
Please let us know if you continue to experience any issues on your end.
