How can I search and locate past chats in the Shopify inbox?

Is there a way to search the Shopify inbox?

If someone comes back to us via phone or email and says they were told something on chat a month prior, is there any way to search so we can locate the chat?

Or alternatively is there a way to see any chats from a customer file so we can link chats to orders?

We have the same issue - we responded to a customer a while ago and now cannot check what we agreed to, as there is no search option (that we can find). It's hard to believe it doesn't exist. Anyone from Shopify that can answer the question?

Ya this is pretty baffling to me that it's not baked in from the start.

The entire app seems half-baked IMHO. No, you can't search. And no, you can't switch back & forth between different stores like you can with the Shopify app. And no, you can't send video clips (only photos). And no, you can't make it so a name appears rather than (or as well as) your company name, so the other people doesn't know who they're talking to. It's an absolutely terrible half-assed app that needs a lot of changes made.

SHOPIFY urrrg... you rule and yet you suck so bad...  i can't search and its a big problem. also when i go to post a photo, i can only chose from like three albums and the rest of the albums are just not available, let alone using google drive for something... a couple of perks to use it but alway reverting back to facebook and instagram... FIX IT

Whelp I guess they figured it.. they are canceling the whole integrations. In a month no more Facebook and Instagram messages lol. It was a good idea guess they didn't want to invest the money to fix it!
