How can I see the setup info for a new store in English?

I'm in Japan and would like to setup a new store here, but would prefer to do all my setup in English if possible. But so far all the pages for setup, including entering my name and card number are all in Japanese. I can understand them but would find it easier and more relaxing if it was in English.

I don't see a place to change the language though.

The URLs seem to show my location as being Japan and language and being English though. They all include this section: locale=ja&language=en

How can I see the pages in English. I'm currently sitting at the credit card info input page.

Thanks.

Hey! You follow the simple steps:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin dashboard.

  2. Click on your profile icon (top right corner).

  3. Select Account settings or Manage account.

  4. Look for a Language or Preferred language dropdown.

  5. Select English.

Hi. I'm at the page telling me there is a 3 day free trial, then 150 yen/month for the first three months and it's asking me my name and credit card info, etc.

There is no profile icon there. There is no admin dashboard either.

This is after I entered my email address to sign up for the trial for the first time.

Anyway, I continued on to the next page and the rest of the setup seems to be in English, so I'll just continue. I can go back and fill in the credit card info before the 3 day free trial expires.

Thanks.

I actually skipped that step for now. That's probably ok for the free first three days. I'll go back and fill that in after I set more things up. Thanks.
