How can I sell credits for digital goods on a client site?

Hi all,

I am thinking of using Shopify for a new client site. They want to sell "credits" that will be used towards purchasing digital goods on the shop. 

Can any of you recommend a good app for this? Maybe you have a funky hack with a loyalty program? I've been looking and no dice.

did you have any luck? Trying to do pretty much the same things but all I find are loyalty programs which is not the right thing
