How Can I Set Up Free Shipping Discount for Standard Shipping Only Without Affecting Other Shipping

Im having a bit of a nightmare with this free shipping promo Im trying to set up in my store.I want to offer free shipping but only for standard shipping. Easy right? Apparently not! Every time I set up the promo it ends up applying to other shipping rates which I absolutely dont want.  And yep I tried to exclude rates over $ amount but my rates fluctuate and so its not consistent enough for me

Its driving me a little nuts because I just want to keep things simple for my customers but also not eat into my profits with those pricier shipping methods. Ive been messing around with Shopify’s buildin shipping discounts but they seem kinda basic and dont really let me control which shipping methods the free shipping is applied to.

Im sure theres an app or something but honestly I have no idea which one would actually work for what I need. Im looking for something thats super easy to set up andsomething I can turn on or off whenever I need without a big hassle.

Has anyone else run into this? How did you manage to get free shipping discounts just to standard rates? Is there a way to do this directly in shopify that Im missing. If I have to use an app which one do you guys recommend that wont force me to update rates or anything like that? Would love any advice you have!

Yes it works with all carriers.
Generally you will be able to find your rate in our dropdown.

However if its not shown here exactly, or if you have dynamically created shipping rates, you can also simply highlight/copy that rate name from a dummy checkout, and paste the method name into this field also.
