All things Shopify and commerce
Hi, I'm trying to upload a CSV file from a third-party site on Shopify. The products are more than 13k; Whenever I tried to import, Images never get attached as there are URLs of those images. Kindly help me how to figure out this problem.
The CSV file is attached below.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Hi @koolkase ,
This file doesn't meet Shopify products import template. Also in case images are too big you will not be able to import them. Shopify limits images to 20 megapixels.
I am developer of shopify app called Feeds Bridge it allows you to import products from any kind of file all you need to do is map file fields to system fields and all the products will be created on your store. Also it will scrink images to 20 megapixels automatically in case it's bigger so it meets Shopify requirements.
You can check it completely free of charge (500 SKUS can be imported on Free plan). Also you can set up daily updated or file fields validation.
You can always contact me in case you have any questions.
Kindly help me how i can upload 13k products at once?
Hi @koolkase ,
If you want to use Feeds Bridge for products upload to your shopify store, firtly you need to install the app itself, you can find it on shopify store Here then you will be able to use it's features which allows you to upload catalog from any excel/csv file. Keep in mind that free plan allows you to upload up to 500 SKUS, so if you want to test this app, simply create a smaller file and use it for for testing purposes.
In order to upload 13k products, you will need to upgrade Feeds Bridge app to paid plan which will allow you to upload up to 20k SKUS and that will cost you $20.
Once you install the app you will be able to find video tutorials on how you can upload your products into your store, also I am attaching links to those tutorials here in case you are interested in checking how this app works in general:

Hope you will find it usefull and let me know in case you have any other questions.
I would recommend using any third party platform to manage the data like a PIM or any catalog management system that allow a direct API integration, using csv upload for 13k product will be hard.
I am using Plytix so I have a direct connection and once product is edited, there is an automated push to my store keeping all updated. You can check it here.
