Happy to help you out here in the Shopify Community. Just to clarify, are you looking to cancel your Shopify store subscription and also request a refund for your last invoice? If you have no outstanding balances to pay, you can close your shop and cancel your subscription by following the steps in this help doc here. Once the store has been cancelled, you will not be charged going forward. Our support team can also help you close down your store if you needed help with that.

In regard to getting a refund for your subscription, in our Terms of Service section 14. Payment of Fees, point 10 states that Shopify does not provide refunds, however we can be flexible in individual cases. If you would like to inquire about getting a refund for your subscription, our support team can look into this with your billing team for you. Our live support via phone, chat, or email can be reached via our support portal here. Simply type your query into the "ask about a topic" bar, then hit continue to support to access. 

We hate to see our merchants go, so I thought I would offer a few suggestions to help you out:


1. To cut down costs, you could switch to our Pause and Build plan this, reduces your monthly cost to just $9/month, and you can keep working on your store. Read more about that at this link here.

 




2. Just to check, have you considered moving to the annual plan? You would save $36/year on your subscription by choosing the annual Basic Shopify plan. As a free bonus you get Custom calculated rates included which is an additional saving of $240. That's a total savings of $276 if you need the Custom calculated option!
