How can I swipe magnetic strip gift cards in Shopify POS?

I have gift cards from my previous pos that I would like to use for my physical gift cards in Shopify pos . When ringing up a gift card I can manually Enter the gift card number and use them it seams. But my cards don’t have a barcode or QR code they only have a magnetic strip to swipe. Is there anyway to swipe the gift card instead of having to enter the card number by hand
