All things Shopify and commerce
Hello,
I have a store that sells prints connected to Print on Demand service.
I've created a product with 2 options. Size (big & small) and Frame type (black, white, wood). A total of 6 variants.
I want to be able to limit each of the size types. E.g: Big - 50, Small - 25.
And to be out of stock when both reach 0.
How can I do that?
Also I want to have a counter for each product on collection page. Saying 25 of 50 left.
Hi @Kaloian_Toshev,
Here's a suggested solution for your scenario 😊:
Begin by creating your product with size variants and assign specific quantities to each size (e.g., Big - 50, Small - 25) as per your requirements.
For Frame types (Black, White, Wood), avoid creating them as Shopify variants to prevent inventory complications with sizes. Instead, use the Easify Product Options app (which offers a free plan) to set up Frame options.
or:
By adopting this approach, your product will be marked as out of stock when both size variants reach zero inventory.
Regarding displaying stock counts on the collection page, you might need to explore additional apps tailored for that specific feature.
