How can I track product-based conversion rates in Shopify?

Does Shopify do any tracking on a per product basis?

I want to know the exact conversion rate for each of my products, but I don't see an option for that in Shopify's built-in analytics.

Is there a way to do this?

Where is that exactly?

I've looked at both the analytics dashboard and categories. I don't see an option for it. 

Is this something only available for bigger Shopify plans?

I was curious if you found a way to track on a per product basis.  We are looking for a way to collect this data as well.  Did you give Dhatma a look?  I saw where this app was recommended.

I see that while the topic is quite old, nobody provided a definitive answer. 

Shopify does not offer product (or variant) level conversion tracking. To have access to such data you need to use an app that can track product views and transactions and generate reports based on these. Take a look at our demo app (no login, no signup): https://demo.datma.io/shopify/reporting/ . We launched this app with the specific goal to fulfil this need combining our proprietary tracking data with Shopify data.
