All things Shopify and commerce
We have created a new theme for our store, but we have many markets and many translations in different languages. How can I transfer all these translations to the new theme?
It is very time-consuming to do it manually.
Maybe I can use some programs or plugins to solve this problem.
Hello @Kate_Foka16 ,
I understand you are looking for an app that helps you to automatically change or translate store content as per customer country or market.
Please take a look at the below app, as it may provide you to automatic translation feature -:
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
Thank you for your response.
But I already have translations into all languages on the old thread. I need to transfer them to the new theme because we have changed only the design of the store, and all the internal information has remained the same. The product translations were pulled from the old theme automatically. I would like to do this with all the information on the store.
Hello @Kate_Foka16 ,
Ok, I understand you have already used a translation app in your previous theme.
In this case you have to copy the locales files (available in locales directory)from your previous theme https://prnt.sc/I_tbLXIDq9OH and create these files in new theme
To create Locales files in New theme - Open Theme Editor - Click on Locales Directory - Click on Add a new Locales - Add file name https://prnt.sc/83uiXjG9RAjL and respective code
You need to manually pulled the tranlation content, however other than this, the only method is to again install the Multilingual App, so they can Automatically create Locales files for all languages.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
