All things Shopify and commerce
My company has 2 warehouses. One is in the US working with NA and one in Europe fulfilling European orders.
I have a product with 50 units at the EU warehouse and 0 in the US. In shipping routing there's only 1 rule saying minimize splitting fulfillments.
Basically in this example this product must show out of stock for NA. However it's not the case and I can place orders after I set my location as US/Canada. How can I deal with that??
Same with taxes - what's the best way to set taxing? By markets or by countries in settings > Taxes and duties?

Hey, there's a great app for this: https://apps.shopify.com/location-inventory-info
But if you're on Shopify Plus then at the begining of February they added this feature natively.

Yep, this is the app I went with in the end. Works great! Thanks.
