How do I add a DNS TXT record to my Shopify domain?

Can anyone please let me know how do i add DNS TXT record to my shopify domain?

You can add a TXT record to your Shopify domain's DNS settings by following the steps below.

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.
2. Click Manage beside the domain you wish to configure.
3. Click DNS Settings.
4. Click Add custom record, and then select TXT or the record type that you want to add.
5. Enter the required details for the record, and then click Confirm.

I'm having a problem with the solution above. I'm not the account owner/super user, but have admin access. That may be the reason for the difference I'm seeing here...

You can add a TXT record to your Shopify domain's DNS settings by following the steps below.

2. Click Manage beside the domain you wish to configure.

I don't see "Manage" beside the domain I want to configure. All I can do is Change domain type, and that does not bring me to DNS settings where I can add a TXT code.

I do not see manage either! Where you able to find how to get to DNS settings?

If your domain was purchased from Shopify, then you'll be able to manage the DNS settings. Should you need help with editing the DNS of a Shopify-purchased domain, then we'd be happy to assist you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.

That being said, if you've connected a third-party domain to Shopify, then you'll need to manage the DNS settings through the dashboard of your domain provider. Should you need help with this, then your domain provider will be able to assist you with managing the DNS settings of your domain.
