How do I get in contact with Shopify regarding a merchant?

Hello,
I’m messaging this to Shopify because I’ve had to deal with a very difficult merchant that uses Shopify. It started out simply enough that I was trying to order some shirts that I thought were really nice from the merchant. Unfortunately, I found their website on Shopify to be difficult, so I went to Instagram and apparently I bought on Instagram, but he’s trying to tell Shopify that I am fraudulent. it was a simple miscommunication that ended with me wanting a refund for the items originally ordered. This merchant was condescending and wouldn’t answer simple questions and kept telling me that a certain link was in my email, but I never received that link. 

The merchant wouldn’t answer simple questions and kept referring to this so-called link that never showed up in my email. He felt he didn’t need to explain anything and couldn’t answer any questions regarding my order, having to do with how they make their product apparently. Understand that I didn’t know it and I got very frustrated because he wasn’t really communicating with me and felt he didn’t need to answer any questions. At the same time because it was so difficult to talk with him, it led to me ending the order and we both agreed it be getting a refund. But the next day, one of his employees emailed me and told me that they were going to ship the product out on a Friday. By then,  I was so frustrated because they wouldn’t refund me, instead kept basically making me take the products which I thought I was going to get a refund on. I decided to go ahead and take the order because it look like these people weren’t going to take no for an answer. Unfortunately when the product wasn’t shipped out on the date promised, I went ahead and I did a dispute on my credit card because I thought at this point I probably wasn’t going to get my order anytime soon and I was about move.

 

After the dispute, the products were shipped. After I received the products, I called my credit card company and told them to drop the dispute. However, the problem with my credit card company that I have, they are very slow in doing anything. The merchant got the dispute I guess after the fact and thought that apparently I was trying to rip him off. However, instead of calling the credit card company and talking to them about the issue, finding out that I had dropped the dispute, he decided to call Shopify and accuse me of fraud along with my mom whose name it was under. The staff was very condescending and pretends to be spiritual. They called me “negative”, they were gaslighting me and making me the problem and I was officially told that I was supposed to get a refund. As you can see, this is a huge mess. I don’t know what to do and I’ve tried to contact Shopify to explain the situation and that they are more than welcome  to contact my credit card company so that it can be confirmed that I have dropped the dispute charges, this merchant is difficult and doesn’t feel he needs to explain himself to his customers. I told him I didn’t want to do business with him anymore because of the way I was treated and the gaslighting. How do I get in contact with Shopify so I can get this cleared up? Because when they do call the credit card company, they are going to find that I have dropped the dispute anyway. The credit card company has been alerted about how difficult the merchant has been and they have notes regarding it. I have emails regarding it as well. I just wanted a simple explanation on an order which he refused to do.

If the charge dispute has already been dropped, then you can simply wait for the bank to close the case and they'll update all of the parties involved. However, if you'd like to chat with Shopify Support, then you can get in touch with us via the Shopify Help Center. That being said, if you're unsatisfied with the experience provided by the merchant, then you can consider leaving a review on their website or social media profiles as other customers may find this information helpful.
