How do I redirect a subdomain to an Ionos server?

Hello, I have a store www.demo.com I want to open a subdomain connected to this store blog.demo.com and I want to point this sobdomain to IONOS (https://www.ionos.com/hosting/wordpress-hosting) server. How can I do that. Could you please explain in detail. I'm searching on the internet, searching in the community, but I couldn't solve this issue. Please
My store will run on Shopify, but the blog will run on transparent Ionos

Thanks for posting your query on Shopify discussion forum.

To answer your question about pointing your subdomain with the blog hosted on IONOS wordpress site you need to edit DNS settings of your domain.

You need to add a "A record" with the below entries

1. Record Type - A

2. Host - blog (or anything you want to name the subdomain)

3. Value - Enter the IP of your blog website (or any IP where you want to point the sub-domain)

4. TTL - Keep it to default or automatic. If it is asking to enter the number 3600 seconds or 1 hour.

I opened the subdomain blog.demo.com at Shopify. It is available now. I bought a host from IONOS company. Now how do I redirect my blog.demo.com from Shopify to IONOS. My main domain will continue to e-commerce on Shopify. I'm sending you pictures too. Can you please help?
