All things Shopify and commerce
My announcement bar on all website pages shows the following in plain text:
(class="gradient animate--hover-default">).
How can i remove this?
The website is rtadirect.com to see what i'm referring to.
Dawn Theme.
Thanks in advance!!
Usually when that happens it's because you've deleted an app that had code in your theme in order to work. You can try searching that code in your theme to remove it (there is a search function in your theme code editor area) OR reach out to the app devs of the app you deleted and ask them to remove it.
If you know how to get to your own code it's probably easier to remove it yourself. Just make sure you back up your theme first (duplicate it) in case you make a mistake. Then you don't have to worry about trying to revert it.
Thanks for the response. I can't seem to find the search function in my code editor section. There is a box labeled "Filter Files..." above the layout, templates, sections, blocks, snippets folder list but am i missing another search area?
Ya it's filter files (i think it used to be search i haven't needed to look in my code in a while). Try copying it directly from your storefront and see if that works!
